Kitsune Umen Stamp Collecting !
Eat Shiroishi Umen, go around Shiroishi, and collect 3 fox stamps!
Shiroishi Umen, a traditional food of Shiroishi, was certified as “100-year food” by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. To commemorate the certification, a stamp collecting will be held in collaboration with KITSUNE (fried tofu) and foxes! ＊”Kitsune” has two meanings in Japanese: fried tofu and fox.

During the event, the following restaurants will offer menus featuring triangular fried tofu from Hasegawa-ya, a long-established tofu store in Zao Town!
Long-established tofu store Hasegawa-ya in Zao Town
Hasegawa-ya, a long-established tofu store that has been in Zao Town for over 100 years, is popular not only for its tofu but also for its large triangular fried tofu and soy milk ice cream. The triangular fried tofu can be eaten in the store, and the toaster oven can be used to adjust the degree of browning.
How to participate om the stamp collecting
STEP.1
Get a stamp rally card at Shiroishi Station or tourist facilities and visit stamp spots.
STEP.2
A group stamp: Eat or buy Shiroishi Umen
B group stamp: Visit Sightseeing Spots, etc.
Put a stamp on the stamp collecting card.
*At least one A group stamp is required!
STEP.3
If you collect 3 stamps, you can exchange them for prizes at the Tourist Information Center in JR Shiroishi Station!
GOAL!!
Exchange your completed card at the Tourist Information Center located inside Shiroishi Station! You can't wait to see which one you get! (9:00~17:00)
